All around

Last weekend I spent Sunday hiking over in Ellenville, which is an area I really had never been to before. We were on a piece of property owned by the state, but not open to recreation. It could turn out to be a key piece of land if it can be used for recreation to really up some loops and some connections in that area between the Shawnagunks and the Catskills. Great day too - blue sky and sunshine.

Drove back through Minnewaska State Park and the Mohonk Preserve. I need to get out and explore those areas.

This weekend will be hikes both days...Saturday up to John Robb Leanto on Hunter Mountain and on Sunday it will be up to the leanto on Table Mountain in the southern Catskills.
