Need a map for the Catskills? The New York - New Jersey Trail Conference publishes the Catskills Trails Map Set, which is the best set of maps available for hiking in the Catskills. How about a guidebook? Both AMC and ADK publish Trail Guides to the Catskill Region

- Batavia Kill Stream Festival - Saturday, August 6th from 11am to 4pm - Join several hiking and trails organizations including the New York - New Jersey Trail Conference and the Catskill 3500 Club as they help to celebrate Catskill streams and rivers.
- New York-New Jersey Trail Conference Meet and Greet at Morgan Outdoors, Livingston Manor, NY - Saturday, August 20th, from 11am to 4pm - Join the Trail Conference's Catskill Regional Program Coordinator for a day long meet and greet to discuss Catskill trails and the Trail Conference's work throughout the Catskills. Then join him for a hike in the afternoon on a nearby trail.
- Catskill Trails, A History at the Village Square Bookstore, Hunter, NY - Saturday, August 27th from 1pm to 3pm - Join the Trail Conference's Catskill Regional Program Coordinator for a talk on the history of the Catskill's trails and the volunteer efforts to maintain and improve them.
