News: Driving Delays and Closed Trailheads in the Adirondacks Cascade Pass this May
Expect plenty of delays along Route 73 later this April and through the month of May. The road, which travels through Cascade Pass on its way to Lake Placid will be under construction and necked down to one lane through the month of May in the Cascade Pass area. The work may also include having the road completely closed at times.
More importantly for hikers, the Cascade Pass area is home to a number a very popular trailheads and all of the trailheads throughout the work area will be closed until the work is finished.
