Hiking: Great Northeastern US Hikes With Children

The Appalachian Mountain Club on it's Great Kids, Great Outdoors blog has a story that lists 11 great hikes that are child friendly and include a lake, waterfall or interesting stream for the kids.  I can vouch for several of the hikes including The Bubbles in Acadia, Glen Ellis Falls in NH and Kaaterskill Falls here in the Catskill Mountains.

If you have children or are just looking for short hikes where you can enjoy some of that liquid H20, this is a list well worth checking out.
