The Catskills - Hiking Plateau Mountain

Plateau Mountain (3835') in the Catskills - One of the Catskill 3500 Peaks

Hiked on May 2, 2020

Ascent from Notch Inn Road via the Silver Hollow Notch Trail to the Warner Creek Trail, which ascends Plateau along the Daley Ridge. From the intersection with the Devil's Path, west on the Devil's Path to the summit of Plateau and then descent down to Route 214, with a roadwalk back to Notch Inn Road. Day was great weatherwise (first real warm spring day of 2020), but the black flies were definitely swarming! Always important to pack bug spray and bug nets in the spring in the Catskills.
